The resume around it was always quietly historic: first player to 100 career rebounds, the all-time rebounding king, a career-best 54 PRF in Game 071's 20-point, 14-assist masterpiece, a 12/12 double-double in Game 078 (his eighth), and 13 points, 4.4 boards, 4.7 assists on 68.8% across more games than almost anyone. The honest notes haven't changed: the 63.1% from three sits a shade under the league's poor-shooting bar, the record hovers at 29-28, and the crown race is one bad rebounding night from flipping. But the asterisk that followed him for fifty-two games is gone. The record book already knew his name — now the trophy case does too.
